The Caretakers of the Universe sound off on becoming a hero in their own backyard.

God's Green Africa

A division of God's Green America dedicated to the developing world, God's Green Africa is driving an international initiative to educate, refocus, and enable millions of African communities to create a new, green Africa for the 21st century through faith-based communities. God's Green Africa is mobilizing non-government organizations with resources to provide a greater quality of life across the African continent. With the technical assistance, in-kind donations, educational seminars/ conferences, teaching resources and financial assistance of God's Green America, efforts will create a blueprint for aid in underprivileged countries around the world.

God's Green Africa has isolated three key capacity building initiatives that will unlock movement in Africa: accountability, transparency and sustainability. Many good-hearted engagements in underprivileged countries start well, but lose traction over time because these three areas were lacking. God's Green Africa will leverage best practices within the scope of these initiatives to bring about lasting change.

Region Partnerships

God's Green Africa is partnering with grassroots and government leaders in The Republic of Benin, Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoir. Currently, more than 150 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Nigeria have been vetted for authenticity and sustainability. In The Republic of Benin over 1,500 faith leaders are ready to engage in capacity building green initiatives as well as the attention of their President. In Côte d'Ivoire, over 1,000 faith leaders are ready to engage God's Green Africa initiatives in the community. Strategic relationships with the United Nations, World Bank and IMF will assure a transparent operation of funding at the grassroots level.
